Hartland is a village along the Bark River in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 9,110 at the 2010 census. It is located at 43°61N 88°2040W (43.100180, 88.344452). It is in the Lake Country area of Wauksha County. The village has a total area of 5.17 square miles (13.39 km²), of which, 5.12 square miles of it is land and 0.05 sq miles (0.13 km²) is water. The median income for a household in the village was $58.359, and the median for a family was $67.67. Hartland is served by the Arrowhead Union High School District along with its three feeder districts: Hartland, Arrowhead, and Arrowhead-Lincoln. The school district has a combined enrollment of 9,000 students. It has an average daily attendance of 1,800 students, making it one of the largest high school districts in the state. The high school is located in the town of Arrowhead and has an enrollment of 2,500 students. The average daily enrollment is 1,700 students, which is the highest in the county. The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that Hartland has a population of 8,000 people (9,110 in 2010). The average household size is 2.63 and the average family size is 3.13.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 5.17 square miles (13.39 km²) of which, 5.12 square miles of it is land and 0.05 sq miles (0.13km²) is water. The village is home to the Wisconsin Dunes National Lakeshore, which is a National Register of Historic Places site. The Dunes are a popular tourist destination in the state, especially in the summer. The town of Hartland was founded in the early 1800s. It is located on the banks of the Wisconsin River, which flows into the Milwaukee River. It has a population of 1,816. The city is located in Waukegan, the state's largest city, and is located near the Wisconsin-Illinois border. The U.S. state of Wisconsin is also located in Hartland, and the city's population is 1,071. The state's population was 1,081 in the 2010 Census. The county seat is Waukeshia, and it is the largest city in the county, with the population at 1,091. It was the site of the Battle of the Bulge, which took place in the late 19th and early 20th century. The area is known as "Hartland".

Hartland is served by the Arrowhead Union High School District along with three of its five feeder school districts. The district's only secondary school is Arrowhead High School. North Shore Middle School has two feeder schools: Hartland South Elementary, and Hartland North Elementary. Divine Redeemer Lutheran School and Zion Lutheran School are K-8 private schools. Hartland Public Library, located in the downtown village of Hartland is used by some students. Lake Country Lutheran High School and University Lake School are private schools in Hartland. The Hartland-Lakeside School District, Lake Country School District and Swallow School District are also served by Hartland High School, which is the only high school in the district. The Arrowhead District has nine feeder Schools: North Shore, Swallow, Merton, Lake country, Stone Bank, Richmond, and North Lake. The Lake Country District has two schools: Merton and Stone Bank. The Swallow District has three schools: North Lake, Swallows, and Merton. The North Lake District has one school: North Lakeside, which has two elementary schools and one middle school. The South Lake School District has a middle school and one elementary. The West Lake School district has one elementary and one high school, which are both in the South Lake District. The United States Church of Christ in America is a U.S. Lutheran congregation. It was founded in 1869.
Recreation
Nixon Park was donated by Dr. H. G. B. Nixon, a doctor whose family settled in Hartland. Camp Whitcomb/Mason, a Boys and Girls Clubs summer camp, is located near Hartland, Ohio. The town of Hartland has a population of about 2,000 people. It is located on the Ohio River, which runs through the town. The village is home to the Ohio State University, which was founded in 1876. The Ohio River is a major source of water supply for the town, which has a water intake of about 1,000 feet. The river is also a source of drinking water for the village, as well as for the surrounding area. The city has a number of parks, including one that was donated to the village by Nixon in the 1920s. The park was named after Nixon, who was a doctor who lived in the village for many years before moving to the U.S. in the early 1900s.
